The new temple recently completed by Lodge, No. 395 F. & A. M., at Parishville was formally opened Tuesday afternoon by one of the largest crowds assembled at that town in years.

The building is commodious and well built inside and out. There are hardwood floors upstairs and down, and the rooms are all attractively decorated. The lodge room proper is upstairs and has in connection an anteroom and large cloak room. Downstairs there is a hall, a reception room, banquet hall seating nearly a hundred, and the kitchens. Taken all in all Amber Lodge may well be proud of her fine new home. It will be remembered that the old lodge room was destroyed in the big fires there last winter. Homer Crane is the present master of Amber Lodge. At the afternoon session Tuesday the first section of the third degree was well put on by Amber Lodge.

A dinner was served by the ladies of the Eastern Star from six o'clock on and to say this was ample and satisfying is really to do injustice to it; it was exceptional and although nearly three hundred were served there were still plenty of provisions left.

At eight o'clock Racket River Lodge, #213 of Potsdam, in full form and in a very acceptable manner, put on the second section of the third degree, F. L. Cubley acting as Master in the absence of Fred Rogers.

As was said before, the attendance was close to three hundred, nearly a third, eighty-three of these to be exact, being from Potsdam. The roll call by lodges follows, but this does not represent all present, because many were outside or downstairs when the roll call was taken:
